Women and Sexual harassment Cell
Term of reference:
To cater to the problems and grievances of women in the institution and to sensitize the women students of the Institute about their individual growth like nutrition, health, hygiene and sanitation.
Mission
· To prevent gender discrimination and sexual harassment by promoting gender equality amongst all the Institute employees and students.
· To educate the students on gender sensitive issues by organizing talks, seminars and by visual publicity.
· To organize friendly and expertise sessions for identifying the problems, to adopt the line of action, to analyze its effects and to provide follow up service.
· To deal with cases of sexual harassment in a time bound manner and ensure appropriate action is taken against the offender.
Objectives

Nature: Administrative
Grievence Redresser mechanism for Harassment of Women:
There will be a standing committee to look into the cases of the harassment of the women. The complaint can be lodged with the Principal or any member of the committee.
The committee can co-opt a student member if the complaint has been lodged by a student.
